Embrace The Cultural Opportunities At Our Bahamas Family Resort

Turn your next Bahamas family vacation into an opportunity for cultural learning, and take advantage of the new “Bahama Buddies” program at Abaco Beach Resort & Boat Harbour, the Entertainment Capital of the Abacos. Designed for children ages 5 through 15 years old, this unique program allows guests to learn about island life from Bahamian children, including 13-year-old Jordan LaRose, our Ambassador of the Bahama Buddies Kids Club. As guests share experiences from their own native countries, Jordan and his team will teach participants authentic island activities, including how to catch, clean and cook fish, and how to crack a conch. Children will also explore the island by foot and bike, and can learn about local sea life through snorkeling excursions. Once guests leave our family resort in Bahamas, the sharing of knowledge and cultural experiences can continue thanks to our Bahama Buddies Email Exchange. Add a more meaningful dimension to your children’s Bahamas experience, and take advantage of this exciting new program.

Additional Information:

Bahama Buddies takes place from 12pm to 3pm, and includes lunch. Reservations and payment are required by 6pm the day prior to the event. The program is $30 per child; this can either be charged to your hotel account or paid by cash at the front desk. The program is highly supervised by resort personnel and requires a min. of 3 children or more with advanced reservation made at least 24 hours prior.

Should you want to stay for more than 4 nights, additional nights can be added.
