The art of shipbuilding and craftsmanship continues here as it did centuries ago. A Christian community that holds to its traditional past. There are no bars or liquor sales on Man-0-War Cay, however, you are welcome to bring your own.

Along with wealthy vacation homeowners there are 200 residents on this Cay. The first settlers were farmers in 1820. In the early 20th century they began to build boats.

The village offers several quaint gift shops, two grocery stores, bakery, boat and golf cart rentals all set amongst private homes, churches, schoolhouse and the post office.

On the lower road you will find people painting boats, scraping bottoms, building fiberglass fishing boats and welding props.

Queen&39;s Highway, a road the width of a sidewalk is traveled by foot or golf cart at speeds of less than 5 m.p.h.













Two unique gift shops are Joes Studio offering hand crafted items made of Abaco wood and Alburys Sail Shop where you can watch them make sturdy, colorful canvas products. Sallys Take Away, Man-0-War Pavilion and Tamarind Tree Shoal serve lunch and dinner. Enas Place offers homemade pies, ice cream, conch fritters, burgers, sandwiches, and nachos, with seating under a shaded porch. There are magnificent white sand Atlantic Ocean beaches with rock outcroppings and reefs for you to explore. Fowl Cay Preserve, a national underwater sea park, lies just north of Man-0-War Cay. One can also take a daily scheduled ferry for a full day of exploring to nearby Marsh Harbour or Elbow Cay. Or, hop on Froggies Adventure Tours for a fun filled day of snorkeling, diving and exploring
