One of the smallest settlements, on one of the largest outer Cays, in the Abaco Chain. There are less than 150 people residing on this Cay. It is a place where you will feel, time has stood still. There are no museums to explore, nor a large selection of shops or restaurants.

On the Atlantic Ocean side of the Cay, one will find a spectacular five and half mile, very wide, white sand beach fringed with coral reefs and beach side palm groves. A reef runs along most of the Cay.

Dive Guana offers a full service dive shop, snorkel trips, rental gear, bikes, kayaks and paddle boat rentals.

Donna Sands Golf Cart Rentals is located on the north side of the village. This is a fun way to explore the Cay.

For your shopping needs, there is a grocery store, liquor store, and several small gift shops.

Several full service restaurants are available for those days you want to be pampered. Orchid Bay Restaurant(located on the main harbour), Docksiders (a 10 min. walk north of the village area and next to Dive Guana). Advance reservations may be required.

Grabbers Bar & Grill is located in the palm grove next to the settlement. You will find fantastic views of the sunset and Bakers Bay. Another barefoot beach/pool bar and grill that offers drinks, snacks and simple grilled foods.

Nippers (Bar-N- Grill) is located on the Atlantic Ocean beach with a two level pool bar (open for lunch and dinner). The dining is open air, very casual (no shoes required). On Sunday, a wild boar roast buffet starts at noon.

If you are cruising in your own boat, Great Guana Cay offers a full service marina. This island is a great location for travelers looking for a true getaway.
